Spectrum Specimens is a unique supplier of a large variety of preserved wildlife. These venomous spiders are humanely collected and professionally processed. A spider's life is incredibly short, but these can have their beauty celebrated and enjoyed forever. Spectrum generously donates a portion of all sales to wildlife preservation. This necklace features a dry preserved Black Widow. The spider is first desiccated, then painstakingly preserved with jeweler's enamel. Inside the jar, it sits atop shards of red and black salvaged church glass, hundreds of years old.  The necklace itself is 16 inches long, made from silk cord.
