These two books were a wealth of information for me when opening my own business.  I am now ready to pass them on, and I do highly recommend taking the time to read them.  Both books were easy to understand, and had ideas and suggestions that I would not have thought of myself, being a new business owner.  Books are as follow:
1)     Retail Business Kit for
DUMMIES...by Rick Segel. I knew I wasn't dumb....as I know you are not either, but this book was so easy to understand and had great information.  Softback book...very clean, coming from a pet and smoke free environment. 356 pages along with a CD-Rom.
2)   Marketing Your Retail Store....in the internet age by Bob and Susan Negen.  This book is a Hardback with a Dust Jacket.  This couple had more than 20 years of retail experience before writing this book.  Amazing book with fabulous ideas.  You will be glad to have their help!  Awesome Book!
